Long Street Opportunities
Similar to 13th Avenue, Long Street has a wider roadway than is needed. The opportunity is to reduce the vehicular lane width, allowing wider sidewalks with trees and pedestrian amenities. Bulb-outs at the corners are also an opportunity that would result in safer pedestrian crossings while allowing amenities such as landscaping, seating, and art.
